Information we collect

Account information. When you sign in with Google or with an email and password, we receive your name, email address, and (for Google) your profile photo. We use this to create and secure your account and to display your profile.

Content you create. Predictions, opinions, comments, votes, and feedback or bug reports you submit — including any screenshot you choose to attach to a report.

Technical data. Standard log information such as browser type, device, approximate location derived from IP address, and pages viewed, used to operate and secure the Service.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

• Provide, personalize, and improve the Service;
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure;
• Display your contributions and attribute them to you;
• Respond to feedback and bug reports; and
• Detect, prevent, and address abuse or technical problems.

Google user data — Limited Use

AthletIQ Club’s use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We only request your basic profile and email to sign you in; we do not sell this data, use it for advertising, or share it except as needed to operate the Service.

Sports commentary content

The Service references publicly available commentary published by creators (for example, on YouTube) and uses automated tools to extract and summarize the predictions and opinions they make, each linked to its original source with a timestamp so it can be verified. We do not claim ownership of creators’ underlying content.

Service providers

We rely on trusted third parties to run the Service, including Supabase (authentication, database, and file storage) and Google (sign-in). These providers process data on our behalf under their own terms and security practices.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies.

Data retention & security

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and protect it with industry-standard measures. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your choices & rights

You may access or update your profile at any time, and you can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above.
